Our team is made up of a close-knit group of friends with deep roots in the area. We are alpinists, adventurers, explorers and photographers with years of experience both exploring on our own and guiding foreigners through the Karakoram, Himalaya's & Hindu Kush mountains.  We have deep connections not just to our community, but to the mountaineering community in both Pakistan and abroad. This not only allows us to create unique experiences but also creates a pathway for positive change in our community. Our families have been living off the land for generations & sharing our love for our home with visitors both near and far.

Empowering the Next Generation of Guides

As part of our dedication to the local community and empowering future generations, Moving Mountains is committed to training the next generation of mountain guides. We aim to take at least one apprentice guide on every trek, providing hands-on experience and mentoring. These apprentices will have the unique opportunity to learn the skills of professional guiding while interacting with international trekkers.

 

Our focus is on providing opportunities for young women in particular, aiming to create a positive social impact and drive change in our beloved home. Through this initiative, we hope to inspire women to pursue careers in adventure tourism, mountain guiding, and tourism. .
