Hassan Al Jabbal Ramal

Hassan is a historian, climber, and explorer with a deep passion for uncovering both the past and the untouched corners of the mountains. He has climbed Spantik (7,027m) in alpine style and Mir Shikari (5,550m) and was part of a winter attempt on Batura I, one of the most challenging unclimbed peaks in winter. His expeditions have taken him to uncharted regions, including the Hidden Valley, the northern gateway to the legendary Batura Wall.

Beyond personal achievements, Hassan believes in the power of moving mountains—both literal and metaphorical—to bring change to society.

Through Moving Mountains, he is helping to create a culture of adventure, resilience, and exploration, inspiring the next generation to push boundaries and redefine possibilities.

Hassan's climbs have been featured extensively on ExplorersWeb, most recently his winter attempt of Batura.
