Skardu to Khaplu

Activities: Our trip kicks off today! Begin with an early morning meeting with your guide and group over breakfast before hitting the road towards Khaplu. Drive through the Ghanche district and pass where the Indus and Shyok rivers meet. Time permitting, check out the Khaplu Fort Museum in the afternoon. You will drive approximately 3 hours this day.

Khaplu to Kanday to Mingulo Broq

Activities: After breakfast drive to Kanday where we will begin our trek towards Nangma Valley. The trek starts off steep but then descends via a wooden bridge over the Hushe river and two additional suspension bridges towards our campsite for the night, Mingulo Broq. We will camp in a local pasture surrounded by willow trees where local shepherds graze their herds. The drive will be approximately 2 hours followed by a 6km trek with approximately 600m of elevation gain. This will likely take 4-5 hours trekking.

Trek into Nangma Valley

Activities: Begin your morning with a hot breakfast cooked at our camp before starting the trek for the day. Our trek will take approximately 3 hours over 4km with 450m of elevation gain. The day is mostly flat with incredible views of the valley.

Overnight: Camp at Nangma Valley

Nangma Valley & Amin Brakk

Activities: Today you have a choice, either take a rest day and enjoy the incredible views from our campsite in Nangma Valley or opt to join us for a day trek to Amin Brakk. The trek will reach 4500m and is considered one of the most incredible rock faces in the world to climb. If you decide to trek, expect to spend about 5 hours on the trail with 500m of elevation gain throughout.

Nangma Valley to Skardu

Activities: After breakfast, start the trek back towards Kanday where we started a few days ago. Once we reach Kanday, meet back up with our Jeeps which will take us back to Skardu where our trip will conclude. No overnight accommodation is included
